About a girl.
Cady. Storyteller, unapologetic clotheshorse and brunch enthusiast.
My friend Sam’s sister, Sarah Mason, is the face of “The Protestor,” Time Magazine’s Person of the Year 2011. What’s awesome is that I had interviewed Sarah about a month ago for Ithaca College’s narrative magazine, 360, to discuss her role with Occupy Los Angeles. Now, her image is the symbol for a movement that’s not only timely, but unstoppable. If you want to learn more about Sarah or merely get a glimpse into a day in the life of Occupy LA, here’s a link to my interview: http://360magazine.org/2011/12/chained-up/
